About our Ranch
The
L6 Cattle Ranch was formed by
Bill and Sharie Leibold in 2006. They relocated from a desert ranch in "Castle Hot Springs", Arizona to fulfill Bill's lifelong dream of being a cattle
rancher and for the family to live a wholesome lifestyle. The family owned ranch is located 10 miles northeast of Corona, NM off of Highway 54, consisting
of 4000 acreas of native grassland. The cattle graze freely on beautiful rolling hills, and are rotated regularly between four large pastures.
In the spring time the pastures are covered with beautiful wild flowers. Bill,
Sharie, and Jessica love to ride the colorful fields by horseback while observing
the cattle in their stress free environment.
The ranch is operated as a cow-calf operation. Cattle operations consist of
developing 3/4 Angus & 1/4 Jersey Heifers for sale by private treaty and raising steer calves for
sale as grass-fed beef. Our cows are breed to registered Angus
Bulls, while our heifers are breed to Jersey/Angus cross bulls to facilitate calving
ease.

Why Grass-Fed Beef
Numerous studies have proven that grass-fed beef is healthier for humans than grain-finished,
feed lot beef. Grass-fed beef meat is higher in Omega-3 fatty acids
resulting
in the desired 1 to 1 ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6. Grass-fed beef is lower in
fat and cholesterol than grain-finished beef. For more information
